The Machine Intelligence Research Institute (MIRI) normally focuses on risks from novel Artificial Intelligence technologies, but they also became very interested in risks from novel biotechnologies. So one of the MIRI team members, Luke Muehlhauser, approached Markus Schmidt from Biofaction to talk about Risks from Novel Biotechnologies.
