On August 23–24, Biofaction together with the Mi-Hy project traveled to Maker Faire Hannover (2025) to showcase our latest research and demonstrate how microbial fuel cell (MFC) technology can power hydroponic systems.

Maker Faire is a worldwide, family-friendly event, which brings together a diverse community of DIY creators, inventor and tinkerers, from professionals to passionate hobbyists. We met so many curious people, from children to adults, who were excited to see MFCs in action.

A huge thanks to Dibyojyoty Nath, Uliana Reutina, and Günter Seyfried for leading the workshops and sharing the Mi-Hy vision.
