Developing novel antibiotics has become a kids play. Developed by Biofaction as a fun and interactive learning tool for university students, the mobile SYNMOD game is now also played by younger high school students. Our SYNMOD project partner Auke van Heel from the University of Groningen, Netherlands, in collaboration with IMC Weekendschool have introduced the game to kids in the Netherlands who have since learned about amino acids, peptides and antibiotics in an entertaining way. The game was played at University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), March 9, 2014.
